About the Dayton Broomball Association

What is Broomball?

Broomball is a team sport that is played on ice. Players wear shoes rather than skates, and use a "broom" (a stick shaped like a broom) to move the ball around the ice. Rules and strategies are similar to those of ice hockey. Broomball does not require expensive equipment or special skills - just an open mind and a positive attitude!

Who We Are

The Dayton Broomball Association is a social organization dedicated to the advancement of broomball in the Dayton area.

Where We Play

All our games are held at South Metro Sports in Centerville. We play on a full sheet of ice and locker rooms are available. Spectators can enjoy the heated lounge that overlooks the ice.

Who Can Play

Just about anyone. Most of our leagues are co-recreational, and we have players of all skill levels. The only restriction is that a waiver must be signed to play. Those under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.
