About the Dayton Broomball Association
What is Broomball?Broomball is a team sport that is played on ice. Players wear shoes rather than skates, and use a "broom" (a stick shaped like a broom) to move the ball around the ice. Rules and strategies are similar to those of ice hockey. Broomball does not require expensive equipment or special skills - just an open mind and a positive attitude! Who We AreThe Dayton Broomball Association is a social organization dedicated to the advancement of broomball in the Dayton area. Where We PlayAll our games are held at South Metro Sports in Centerville. We play on a full sheet of ice and locker rooms are available. Spectators can enjoy the heated lounge that overlooks the ice. Who Can PlayJust about anyone. Most of our leagues are co-recreational, and we have players of all skill levels. The only restriction is that a waiver must be signed to play. Those under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.
